Introducing Mr. Sneaky The Tomato Plant And 3rd Unit 2-16-09

During the time that I was waiting for my second Aerogarden, I found a deal on another AG6 Elite. I ordered that one as well and by mid February am up to 3 units. Two large gardens, and one small garden. All my gardens are the Elite class units. My Tomato plant gets named Mr. Sneaky for all the light he wants to steal from his pod mates and the second herb kit is planted. This marks the beginning of an experiment in the second AG6 to try a staggered planting approach. The thought process is that Basil is clearly the fastest grower in the bunch. This process will later become know as "podracing".

Fast Foward, 2nd Unit And Big Growth 2-8-09

I love the Aerogarden. It has allowed me the opportunity to get back into gardening in a big way. I like the product so much in fact that not less than a month after my first unit, I picked up a second. The smaller version of the AG6 Elite I got for Christmas, the AG3 Elite.

First Sprouts Of Excitement, 1-9-09

Within a week or so my first sprouts had appeared. I took off the plastic lids, officially known as "Biodomes", and began to marvel at the growth. This brought back a lot of good memories of container gardening on my porch a few years ago.

Aerogardens are great.

Thanks to everyone who suggested I start a blog. The purpose of this posting is to show the versatility of what a handful of Aerogrow Internationals product, the Aerogarden can do in just a small apartment with minimal space. Since my first unit that I received this past Christmas, I have become somewhat of an addict for this product. The company who produces these units bill them as "the worlds first kitchen gardening appliance". Aerogardens come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit virtually any need and their product line is continually being updated. I have been intensively photo documenting the progress of these units and would like to share my experience with the world. I hope you all enjoy the show.
